LAINCO specializes in designing, manufacturing and erecting structural steel as well as designing foundations for the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors. The company uses the most up-to-date software for estimating, design, drafting and project management. LAINCO holds a Division 2.1 certification from the Canadian Welding Board (CWB) and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC).

History
LAINCO began operations in 1997 from a 1,500-sq.-ft. workshop located in Blainville, Quebec, and quickly made its name known for small steel structures and ornemental steel. The company developed expertise for handling complex projects that involved reinforcing existing structures and completing work in hard-to-access places. In 2000, the company moved to a 9,500-sq.-ft. building in the western part of the Terrebonne Industrial Park, enabling it to expand its expertise in Design & Built type of work. A year later in 2001, the company further expanded by adding an exterior runway crane covering an additional 6,500-sq.-ft. Thanks to its dedicated team of professionals and their relentless drive for quality, efficiency and innovation, LAINCO was honored with the "Young Enterprise of the Year" award by the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce in 2002.

In 2005, LAINCO again expanded - enlarging its factory space (production area, paint shop and small-piece preparation area) by 13,800-sq.-ft., adding an additional 9,400-sq.-ft. exterior runway crane and doubling its engineering, drafting and administrative office area to 4,000-sq.-ft.
